What a steal and SO good, sashimi lunch special!
Trust the chefs at the bar. The toro and Japanese snapper are particularly awesome, but everything here is great. Prices aren't transparent and omakase can get expensive (but the fish is worth it!).
Lunch special Sashimi is very good here! Very fresh! One suggestion is that you should ask the waiter for sushi rice. They will charge you one extra dollar for it but its worth it! Try this place!
order the crispy rice and spicy tuna, the sesame tuna, the baked crab hand roll, and the Japanese pumpkin.
Do the crispy rice with spicy tuna, the albacore with fried onions, and the baked crab rolls. Then go across the street and have banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery for dessert!

Everything is great. My faves are the Shrimp Cocktail, Ahi Tartare, Lobster Roll, Roasted Halibut and Crab Louie. Incredibly fresh and just lightly dressed to bring out the natural flavors. Yum!
Good happy hour here. It's from 2pm to 5pm and everything on the happy hour menu is from $2 to $5. Fresh fish and reasonable drinks!! Can't complain about that!!

Always fresh, good quality sushi and sashimi. My favorites are the albacore sashimi and the spicy yellowtail hand roll.
Order their Kiwi Envy and a bottle of sake. Mix and match from their traditional sushi menu and their fusion dishes. Crispy rice & tuna, Miso cod and Katsuya roll - awesome.
#2 most amazing sushi restaurant. Worth it to try seared tuna with sliced tomatoes! Fine and yummy. California rolls and "basic" sushi are cheap. Cocktails are expensive.
Miso marinated black cod was excellent. Everything we ordered we ordered was delicious, raw fish very fresh.

No reservations, trust them and get the pre fixe Trust Me or Nozawa dinner. Amazing combo of sashimi & hand rolls.
I always get the "trust me" and am always blown away by the freshness and quality of the fish. Best sushi I have ever had, hands down.
Go for the Nozawa if you're really hungry. A great value and you'll leave full of delicious fish.
The "Trust Me" sushi / sashimi combo is just perfect. Fish is incredibly fresh and melt in your mouth tender. And the rice - that beautiful, warm, fluffy, loosely packed rice.
Old school Japanese style sushi. Crispy seaweed, warm rice and fresh fish make perfect hand rolls. Set menus are nicely paced and bring satisfaction to the taste buds.

The fried shrimp tacos are smothered with good stuff and taste divine. Only $1.75 each so order at least 5 a person. Get a refreshing tostada to mix it up. People are super friendly.
While the shrimp tacos get (and deserve) a lot of love, the humble ceviches, tart with lime, are worth checking out as well.
Kale salad, black cod, and skate wing are must haves!

My favourite sushi place in L.A.! Excellent sashimi and nigiris! Try to ask for the patio: this is where the magic starts! Nice cocktails at the bar! Book in advance!

Fancy place with a very elegant decoration. The staff is really friendly. Try the yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño, the mushroom salad, and for dessert the pistachio souffle.

Very cool spot. Healthy fresh food, small size is a solid portion that is pretty filling. Tuna was delicious.
Healthy salad with delicious fish. Get spicy yuzu salmon, kelp noodles are a bit crispy.
Best campechanas, shrimp tacos and beer's preparadas! ideal spot for hangovers (except for the tamboraso #annoying!!)
