They do not take credit cards or checks. Cash only. They have a stand-alone ATM inside the restaurant. The American coffee is wonderful.
Trip's is a great local diner. The food is delicious and affordable.
My one problem with Trip’s (and it’s my problem, not theirs) is that I like to sit for a long time, drink coffee, and goof around on my phone. Hard to do that when you see people waiting for tables.

Had a great chicken fried steak. Check the prices before ordering sides. Corn beef hash is like 6 bucks.
It's a little expensive for what you get and being a traditional "mom and pop" restaurant. If you are a big breakfast eater, expect to pay $10-15 with a drink before tip. However service is fast!!
