If u wanna go to ginza or roppongi, no need to ride the free shuttle to shinjuku station. There are 2 nearby metro stations that are accessible from the basement of the hotel. Much easier.

Shinjuku Gyoen is one of Tokyo's largest parks, completed in 1906. one of Tokyo's most popular SAKURA (Cherry blossom) viewing spots.
Located in Takashimaya Times Square mall, 14F. Unlimited rice, soup and cabbage. They also do Kani (Crab) Croquette!
If your kids are like mine and LOVE trucks, ambulances, helicopters, motorbikes, and cars too, this is a fun spot for a few hours interactivity.
This place is oozing with charm and education. Multiple floors full of toys that challenge the mind and watching the kids play with them makes it all worth while. The arts and crafts room is a must..
OPEN: 7AM-11PM. Kid friendly family diner with kid's menu and kids meal toys. Japanese + International menu options. Clean, bright and yummy. Limitless fountain drinks incl. hot drinks. Good value.
Worth the ¥200 admission. Great spot to take an obento lunch from nearby Isetan department store, but remember alcohol is prohibited in the park.
Buy food from basement department store. You can go to 7th/rooftop level to have your mini picnic or take it near the Shinjuku Gyoen Gardens nearby.
Rooftop (9FL) jungle gym. On same floor as kids clothing and toys. There are also chairs and quite a bit of space up here. You are welcome to bring up your own snacks.
There's a lot of great finds here. If you're a tourist, start at the top going down. You have to pay for your purchases by floor. If you spend enough, you can get a tax refund at the lowest floor.

Cute toy store in Harajuku. Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma, Doraemon, Totoro, Pokemon, Super Mario, Gundam, to name a few. Can not stop buying...watch out!
The shops are ok, but head to the rooftop patio and grab a drink from Starbucks (on the same floor) if you need a break from Harajuku. There are elevators near AE outside that take you to the patio.
8:30AM–11PM daily. Rest stop for kids/family in Harajuku with rooftop deck + changing tables. Take elevator to 6FL! Killed some time until stores in Harajuku opened. Try Hojicha tea latte
Arrive by 1130 on a weekday, and 11 on a weekend to avoid the crowd. Come for lunch as they might still have their kurobuta loin/fillet available. They’re limited to 5 and 2 sets a day!
World of diff from Omotesando main thoroughfare.Lots of tiny fashion boutiques,hip cafes,& restaurants dotted along d pedestrian promenade.Very casual & relaxing.

Open 10:30AM-12AM. Fun place to take kids as all orders are made on an iPad. Sushi comes via conveyor-belt. Fantastic to try different kinds of sushi for first time. Also great for non-fish eaters.
For outdoor park play for kids! Walk for 10 minutes, from Shibuya Crossing to Nabeshima Shoto Park.
Restaurant floors are very casual place to walk around and eat. It is directly connected with Shibuya station. If kids need wiggle time, I recommend going straight to the second floor for open space.

Roppongi Hills complex. 24H. Small park with a pond, seasonal foliage, grassy areas & a beer garden. Near garden (near elevator) is a free play space for small children (leave strollers out).
The ippudo karaka was awesome. I tried with the level 3 spicy and it boasted great flavour. Adding garlic to it was a great final touch. Highly recommended for those that like spicy flavourful ramen.
Ultimate tourist place - if you liked Kill Bill then you need to go here! The food was good and at tourist prices but the atmosphere can't be beat!
