If the weather isn't too hot, it's an easy walk to the Magic Kingdom. If you take the resort monorail, you'll have a couple of stops since it goes in the other direction.
I love that this hotel is actually walking distance to the Magic Kingdom.. and the views to watch fireworks are to die for! They also have the water boats during the summer months!
One of the best resorts at Disney! Love it here, the pool is wonderful with the waterslide, there is also a quiet pool for adults. Be sure to check out chef Mickeys, I love it here! I'll be back!
Just an absolute beautiful hotel and resort to stay at. I've stayed here 3 times and they've all been amazing. Love the monorail traveling through the hotel.
Hotel itself if just okay. Definitely not the most interesting or the best in Disney. Fireworks up in California Grill. Turkey BLT from the cafe is great. Definitely walking to Magic Kingdom tomorrow!
Like I said the lobby smells fantastic. Food is great. The Wave & Chef Mickey's are both Table Service restaurants. Delicious. And the have a HOT TUB AT THE POOL!! Such a perk. Beautiful views too!
Love staying here! Always magical the first step all the way to the last! Get the cups with free refills! Also check out Chef Mickeys! Awesome for breakfast! :) Love it! S
Great views of Magic Kingdom's fireworks and less than ten minutes walk to the park. The monorail goes through the main building to take you to any of the parks.
Easy INDOOR access to the monorail and a character dinner are home to the Contemporary. You'll also want to take the bathroom home with you! Great for families :)
Take a monorail hotel hopping tour from here to Polynesian & Grand Floridian! (Esp. fun during the holidays when decorations are up at all the resorts)
If you can afford to, stay at the Atrium Club Level (12th fl) facing Magic Kingdom side. Best view of Magic Kingdom and the fireworks. Enjoy all the amenities during your stay in the lounge.
If youre into a more healthy eating style abd want to keep your waisteline in check dont be afraid to try the wave on the first floor. Good food, decent prices and healthier options!
ContemporaryResort is one of the best Disney properties for major events, including Vinylmation trading nights! Also, great parking spot for a short walk to the Magic Kingdom. Facebook.com/brinkmag
Don't stay here for luxury or fantastic service. This place is run by college interns who are very quick to answer, "I don't know." However, the 30 second monorail ride home from MK is priceless!
Even if you're not staying here, you can soak a cotton washcloth in cold sink water and wash your face on a hot afternoon in the first-floor bathrooms.
Café Contempo on the 4th floor (below monorail access) makes for a decent quick lunch without a lot of fuss. A good afternoon stop if you've just arrived for a stay here, and open 'til midnight!
Apparently if you're a cast member or visitor you can't park here just to get coffee. I love contemporary grounds, but I won't be parking at MK and monorailing it over to do so. It's unfortunate.
Want a quiet place to sit on the beach and enjoy Bay lake? Head to the "hidden beach" at the very end of the building. There is never anyone there and it is very quiet!
