About as authentic as it gets. Old timers playing chess, smoking cigarettes street-side with their dogs. Not a lick of English to be heard. Beers are relatively cheap, and the staff is friendly!

Very “Berlin” like hommy place for Westerpark hood. Great jazz-funk music, board games, 🎱 pool and local bands performing after 8 pm. Real Amsterdam secret spot ❤️

Great and authentic atmosphere + nice tea offering. Can even borrow some good old board games for a short return to childhood :). Not so much space though so gets full quite fast.
The sweet potato fries were so amazing! Friendly staff. Had an awesome milkshake, they made too much and gave us the rest too. And of course, video games and board games! What is not to like?

First third wave coffee place in Nieuwe West, with high ceilings and nice seating concept with various levels and home to the Dutch Aeropress Champion. Great place to work.
You can play Chess in the lovely Bar, but if you've had Truffles for lunch then i doubt you'll win.
Hotel is a jewel in the middle if the city. Love the room and the garden. People ate great too.
