Definitely stop by the World of Disney store, Wunderland Gallery, and the LEGO store. If you don't get the Vinyl figurine you want on Saturday nights traders usually hang out in the main courtyard
Relax in one of the many courtyard areas and enjoy the area music.
Its an amazing place to relax an see the sights for the first time. Also there is always a live band playing, also its perfect for a first date
If you're lucky, you can snag a table in the Plaza Inn courtyard and watch the fireworks in relative comfort.
If you're going to watch the show Please be respectful of people and sit down so EVERYONE can see the show. Especially the kids.

Welcome to the Happiest Place on Earth. While you’re in Disneyland, make sure you go to the castle. That’s where I ran into Mickey! Mickey Disanti, from my old neighborhood. He looked great.

They offer story time near the beautiful lobby fireplace, as well as retro Disney cartoons for kids to watch in child-size rocking chairs in the lobby as well. Our kids LOVE it!
Whether you are just passing through or staying at the hotel, try and drop into the lobby. It has a truly amazing atmosphere and is a sight to be seen in itself. Read more.
Stay on the concierge level. You're greeted at the valet by a cast member who takes you straight to your room. There's also a "concierge only" club with daily breakfast, cocktail hour and story time.
It's really easy to follow along with the artist. The picture you come up with at the end is worth it.

After the Royal Theatre performance, don't miss Clopin's Music Box by Royal Hall. There's hidden characters in the box, and on the far left the man in the glasses is the lead imagineer of this area.

I bid for a hotel on Priceline for $80 and got the Anaheim Marriott! When I got to the desk, they gave me half off for parking at $12 (maybe because it's the weekend?!) Awesome deal! :)
