Adam Klein: The Citadel Room is a nice spot for a wedding. Small but very cozy.
CNN: Opened in 1886, this is the oldest operating hotel in Austin. Legend has it the original owner, cattle baron Jesse Driskill, lost the hotel to his brother in law in a poker game in 1888.
The Most Interesting Man in the World: They say this lovely Texas landmark is haunted. Me? I don’t believe in ghosts, and I had a lengthy debate about this very topic with a rather opaque visitor one autumn night in room 319.
Miriam Goldman: Elegant hotel with fantastic amenities! A great place to stay.
C.Chavis: This place comfortable and it has a convenient location!
Andrew C: Convenient for anything related to UT, as it is right on the edge of campus... hotel rooms are nice size with comfy bed and mini-fridge and coffee, the sink is separate from the actual bathroom!!

Holger Lüdorf: Fantastic boutique hotel with super friendly owner/staff. You feel like you are in a home-away-from-home and the Shiner beer in the fridge helps, too!
Stephen: Our stay at Heywood Hotel was nothing short of amazing! Probably the best interaction/experience I have ever had with a hotel or B&B. Staff goes out of their way to make sure your visit is perfect.
Hudson Sutler: The 7-room Heywood Hotel is a homerun. E Cesar is a stones throw from the best East Austin spots, Rainey and Downtown are minutes away and you can easily shoot south of the river in no time. Read more.
