JoAnne Nabors: Police stopped last week & said they are ticketing & towing even from the grassy area. Talk about predatory...Elk towing is waiting in a parking spot!
Ailie Chang: My pup loves coming here to run in and out of the trees and swim in the lake. Parking is difficult in the lot, so park afar in the neighborhood and make the hike. Worth the pretty photos of your pup!
CultureMap Austin: Be on the lookout for a statue of a shovel with a very important public service announcement....

Hotel · Downtown Austin · 166 tips and reviews
@palmerlaw: 8th floor - Great gym facilities with Precor brand equipment! Pool (with bar and hot tub) is nice but typically small as downtown hotel pools often are.
SPIN: Couldn’t spring for a hotel downtown? The Hilton lobby can be your new de facto crash pad. But shhh, the prime real estate goes quick. Rumor has it they won't even try to kick you out!
IFC: Need a nice, quiet place to get away from it all? This is definitely it during SXSW!
