Their happy hour is simply the best in town. $1.50 nigiri, $2.99 maki. Sit at the bar for intro salad and citrus palette cleanser.
The Tempura Roll is amazing; you will be craving it again for days! I'd also recommend The Ex-Girlfriend, Japanese Lasagna, and Something Wrong. The art is beautiful too - all around great experience!
Ex Girlfriend and Something Wrong were delicious! Tempura #2 was good but I still can't endorse a fried sushi roll.

1st time here...had the combo fried rice, California roll (wanted to be safe) and flounder...all of it...FANTASTIC! Did not think in a strip mall it would be this good!

It's all so good! Went for lunch and it wasn't too bad. $60 for two people but we ordered a bento box, an appetizer, and 5 sushi rolls. The Philly Roll was the best I've ever had. Great service too.
I love the Sushi and Sashimi Kawasaki Lunch. For $15, you get a nice variety of small dishes. Fills you up! And the plating is beautiful.
The lunch special is awesome. A Meat teriyaki bowl is normally 7.99 and the lunch special is that plus a Cali sushi roll for 7.99.
Ok food. We ordered Bulgogi Ramen, Salmon Bento, Udon and a Spicy Dragon Roll. Be ready to wait, both for your meal and somewhere to sit. Luckily you can enjoy your meal outdoors.

I ordered the Rainbow roll as a takeout order and it was good. The nice presentation and flavor of the roll was ruined because they provided Kari-Out fake horrible tasting soy sauce. Who does that?

Take it from someone who works here, Chef O and staff are the real deal, just like their food. Some of my fav dishes include the Rainbow Roll, Pad Puk, Chicken Teriyaki, and their Egg Custard.
Save room for dessert and order the mango roll (on the specials board). Rich flavor = good for sharing!
don't spend your money on the "traditional" sushi (nigiri or maki) the rice is terrible; its the creative entrees and sashimi concoctions that really shine here.
