This is one of the most wonderful food markets/stores I have ever been to -- cozy up to the lunch counter and order some of their famous fish lunches. Everything here is delicious.
People who love food will love this legendary deli. Try the pork cuts, smoked herring with butter and dill, and soups of the day. U-bahn Bismarckstrasse. Look for hideous green signage. Read more.

The most important grocery store in Berlin and it’s the size of a large closet. Fresh corn tortillas, all types of chiles, beans, salsas, fresh fried chips, chorizo, jalapeños, etc. Loco!

Decent supply of authentic Mexican food. Could be a bit bigger. Try the homemade Tortilla chips
