Of all the neighborhood cafés in Chicago, this one holds a special place in my heart. Try the "Pollo Diablo," and remember this it's cash only! (A stop by the ATM is worth it, promise).
Super awesome Vegan/Vegetarian food! I loved the Diablos. The have the best chorizo and tofu on them. The rice and beans were a perfect addition. I even added cheese and avocado it made it delicious.
Eggs Diablo and Pepito Scramble are my brunch favs. Can't go wrong with either!

This is one of the most amazing values in Chicago. The food, atmosphere, and service are impeccable for the prices charged. I came for the breakfast and it was sumptuous.
Fancy but cozy cafe and restaurant in the Gold Coast. The scones are buttery deliciousness.
Everything is great here. The shrimp diablo (spicy), the green enchiladas are one of my favorites, and a big fat tasty burrito. YOU HAVE TO GET THE SALSA VERDE WITH CHIPS!

Nice but kind of overpriced. Good strawberry margaritas. Server said a pitcher was “just five dollars more” than 2 margs and wow I’m a sucker, that was nowhere near true.
The chicken is out of this world. The drinks are great. Atmosphere is quiet and peaceful.

Simply put, we will be back ASAP. Poutine, wild boar meatballs w/cheddar grits, mac, & gnocchi were all phenomenal. Impressive beer list and server Amanda was spectacular- so funny & knowledgeable!
Good for sports if you can get a table. The goose island Ogden is a good local craft beer. Pizza was a pleasant surprise.
