Ken Quandt: Try the pancakes at Sweet Maple. They've been voted among the best (#1) in the city. But don't neglect the catfish and eggs on Fridays, or the egg and cheeser with country sausage. Don't wait!
Ron Willis: My favorite spot for breakfast. You can't go wrong with the Sweet Maple Special and slice Tomatoes
Theo Downs: The Sweet Maple special alone is meal and then some. The biscuits are bigger that my fist. The home fries are just like Mom's.

Suli Chong: Great brunch place although waits are understandably long. Had the braised lamb which was excellent but hands down, the best thing on the menu was their maple syrup-braised bacon!
Eater: Start with some fresh oysters from the east coast, then try the maple sausage corn dog, rock crab scramble, or duck confit. And as always, don’t forget the popular syrup-braised pub bacon.
Victor Marquez: Bacon with maple syrup is amazing
Kevin Dulin: Amazing Benedicts, particularly the southern one. The rosemary maple syrup is amazing. The Beignets are also delicious.
ISC Chicago: ART SMITH FRIED CHICKEN & WAFFLES (buttermilk waffle, rosemary maple syrup)
Morgan McKee: Elevated southern = honey goodness. Apps will satisfy your southern cravings (deviled eggs / potato pierogies). Try southern with a twist by going for salmon for main, cooked impeccably 👍🏻

Theo Ikari: Maple Latte and the Pumpkin Pie Latte are a a match made in heaven!
Mike: Scones and donuts by Do-Rite, Dark Matter coffee on drip. Cool coffee house with lots of African-American focused art for sale. Very quiet inside so I'd imagine it's a great place to study.
Shelley J: They use Dark Matter beans and know how to brew it, which means it's delish. Fresh Scone City scones and Do-rite Donuts round out their pastry selection.
