Pickled cow tongue blew me away! Was better than any roast beef or pastrami I had ever had.
Eh. Pastrami was good. Pickles mediocre. Potato salad is northern-style = bland!! Not my favorite place, overall.

Legendary pastrami rubbed brisket. Pulled pork and pork ribs also tasty. Beans and corn great sides. A top bbq joint in Texas.
The brisket is the best I have ever had. The Mac & Cheese is fantastic as well. Plus they have Cheerwine! Had to wait in line for 40 minutes over lunch, but the brisket alone is well worth it.
Nova Lox Plate is perfection! Grab a potato knish and a black and white cookie to go.

The protein plate is a perfect starter for two - pastrami is unreal. Cocktails are excellent and not too pricey. Shrimp/grits are the best I've had in TX. Bourbon menu is LEGIT. Service is great too!
The tots, country bun, crispy chicken chips, cheese sandwich (plus the gluten free bun is great according to my roomie). Will definitely come back!

If you want a cocktail on Bishop, go here, not Whitehall. Try the Blood & Sand. Great sandwiches, too, and you can order half-sandwiches - they're huge so that's plenty.
