Sean Sutherland: Ask for Natalie (porch) or Ashley (inside bar). Gorgeous, friendly ladies serving cold beers and great smiles. The entire menu is outstanding. Live music most nights.
Amanda Gammill: Porch is open seating, but smoking hole.
Angela Skees: Got three hours? Sure this is fine, nice patio and porch. Want to eat and move on? Don't set foot inside. Been here an hour and 15 min with no sign of our entrees.

Josh McCoy: Almost as good as the original and that will come with time. Amazing porch for outdoor drinking and dining, expanded menu, and a more open feel. Food is very legit, just like the Deep Ellum locale!
Jacob Sloan: Same great food with a few more options on the expanded menu. Try the Longhi salad for something a little different. Great porch.
Chicy Babe: The meatballs are good. But if your appetizer isn't burrata, you f'ed up.

Ondine Bult: Pet friendly, family friendly, food truck stop, brought to you by your friends at Twisted Root. Come on by and kick back on the porch and enjoy yourself
Eater: Truck Yard is known for its casual, laid-back vibe, tasty cheese steaks and downright affordable (and delicious) cocktails that continue to draw crowds nightly, even when it's chilly outside.
Dallas Observer: And Jason Boso didn't open the Truck Yard so he could sit on a stuffy couch. They will have regular operating hours (no, it's not a dive bar, but it has a bar in a tree so it exceeds categories).

Melissa Nash: Started w/ wildflower latte (vanilla & chai hints)- amazing. The strawberry & mandarin mimosa was refreshing & delicious. Bread pudding French toast was to die for, & A+ for the California scramble!
Florian Schenkel: Great place for brunch in Victory Park/Uptown.Lots of healthy and vegetarian options. The Rancheros & Acai Bowl are recommended in particular. Try the chocolate croissant.Service - friendly & fast.
Mario Valverde: Great atmosphere, great food
Philip Orwig: One of the best burgers in Dallas. Cracks my Top 5, along with Taco Diner, The Porch, Dish, and Maple & Motor.
Ray Lopes: My favorite "biergarten" in Dallas, right behind the Katy Trail, awesome local craft beer selection on draft served in frosty thick glass cups, burgers are really good, dog friendly and cozy!
The Most Interesting Man in the World: I was disappointed this wasn't a house made out of ice, like the one my friend Eyvindur let me stay in prior to my 3rd transcontinental dogsled race, until I remembered his place didn't have brisket.
Russell Hirschorn: Great for a stroll after eating some great BBQ or Mexican. Can also partake in the food trucks that are always there. Pick up the mckinney trolley for a ride around town in front of southwest porch.
Johnny Ogletree, III: Very nice place! The water was fun and the playground was fabulous! The kids loved the climbing and cooling off from the heat! Lots of shaded areas too!
Dallas Observer: There are usually food trucks around or you can BYO-whatever. And no one will look at you funny if you lie down for a nap.

Dive Bar · 89 tips and reviews
Dallas Observer: The bar feels more like a house (with a bar and a pool table in it) and the front porch may or may not fall down before you finish your first beer, but that's what makes dive bars exciting.
Aaron Bussell-Boaz: Blue cheese burgers are frickin amazing. Medium rare. Toasty fire pits, and great happy hours.
Ian Cunningham: Sunday Night is Dog Night, they close off the yard and everyone brings their pups. Best dive bar in dallas.
Brian Peters: pros- good food, friendly staff and sweet porch cats! cons- patio smokers, and flies... it is what it is. fish and chips was great!
Raelynn Adamson: Love this place! Beers are pricey, but the food was delicious!
Christy Robinson: Pros: Adorable and no-fuss, like a cousin's backyard. Really friendly staff. Good food. Cons: Smokers on patio, but what do you do. Emphasize "no pink" if you want well done.
