$20 special before 6:30 includes a great salad, miso soup, a ton of tempura, grilled fish, tuna roll + 1 each salmon/yellowtail/tuna sushi (or 3 each sashimi and rice), and fresh fruit plate. HELLO.
Probably one of the best black cod in the city. Spicy tuna roll is pretty amazing as well.
Incredibly small expensive portions.. Spicy tuna roll is very sub par and the tartar is a joke... I wouldn't suggest coming here- this coming from an avid sushi fan.
Dined here last night. Was very disappointed. Spent over $120 on food only and received small pieces of sushi with rice falling apart, dry salmon skin roll and overall not impressive taste.

There's no sign but walk past the curtain, open the door and be transported to a hidden gem. Chef Norihito will not let you down.
Definitely a top tier sushi omakase restaurant in new york city. Highly recommended to those who seek quality sushi.

Get the Japanese breakfast. Great value, variety and so tasty. You get a choice of whitefish or salmon. $10 at the time of writing.
Forget bagels - Panya offers a traditional bento-box style Japanese breakfast consisting of everything from miso soup to lightly seared salmon.
Delicious. Ramen and macro bowl were tasty and filling and healthy enough to make you feel like a superhero.

Amazing food/confusing menu. The $35 omakase is solid, but if you're feeling flush, check out the $65-85 'sushi box' omakase or the $140+ 'Super Omakase' hand-served by head chef Nobu at the back bar.
Sit at the bar and ask for the 'super omakase' (not on the menu). Chef Nobu is wonderful so sit strategically to watch him prepare and discuss the sushi!
Best sushi I ever had! The omokase sushi is worth the extra money. It is out of this world. I've been eating sushi since I was a kid and this place blows away any sushi I have ever eaten. Love it!
Try the cacio e pepe pasta, a traditional roman dish that's e excellent here. Good appetizers and wines too.
The pasta with romano and black peppercorn is the single greatest pasta dish I have ever had.
The Cacio e Pepe is great. Super cheesy though - they literally toss it in a giant wheel of pecorino at the table
