Jon Chu: Horrible service at this location. Quick meal and was asked to move to another seat multiple times. Food is average, heavy on oils. Skip this place unless your in a bind
Shiri Lara: Small spot quick eats. Great spicy miso. It's too brothy for me but the vegetarian miso is packed full of things! Also, get the cabbage salad. Yum!
Sheena: Delicious delicious broth, so good. It was packed even at 5 pm on a Saturday, somehow we got a table immediately. Great for a quick meal
L B: Quick bite to eat great chicken
Charlottes: Good for a quick bite pre/post movie. The sauce selection is impressive.
Selena Nelson: Absolutely love this place!! Very clean, organized service, and a great place to grab something quick or have a meal with a group of friends. The Blue Ribbon Chicken Sandwich is their specialty! A++

Monika McMahon: Best find in NYC so far. Perfect meal in a cup, especially if it is cold or you're battling a cold. I love the beef mixed with coconut milk, chile, and turmeric. It's surprisingly filling!
Staff Picks: Order the new nourishing bone broths in coffee cups. Flavors include organic chicken broth, and hearth broth made with chicken, turkey, and beef, and grass-fed-beef broth. Read more.
Mike McBryan: Is it worth $5 for a cup of hot broth in a coffee cup? Yes. Yes it is. Get the Hearth Broth plus add chili oil. So good and surprisingly filling as well.

Chad Horner: a hidden gem deep in the East Village, El Diablito offers an array of taco options - the namesake taco contains chorizo and poblano - and complimentary chips and salsa.
Andrew Cove: Fish and carnitas tacos were good. Guacamole had chunks of avocado. Pretty cheap.
Parul Batra: Love their vegetarian tacos. They just have a bung of steamed vegetables (asparagus, zucchini, avocado, corn) in the taco. Affordable and tasty!
Bradley Kay: Less-heralded gem of alphabet city: a bodega with a really excellent selection of snacks and drinks (lots of Asian and rarer American choices) plus the best fresh-made sandwiches
nymag: The P.H.O. Real, one of our 101 Best Sandwiches in NY, takes on the considerable challenge of reinterpreting a bowl of Vietnamese soup as a kaiser-roll sandwich - and wins.
Serious Eats: Tiny East Village deli with some of the weirdest sandwiches we've had in New York, all at very affordable prices.

Anna Frenkel: Meat lovers - please please please get the Cub Classic, and make it spicy. It's definitely not a traditional bahn mi but that's what makes it even better.
Carly Heinz: Cheaper and fresher than Baoguette, better than Nicky's, and cheaper and bigger than Num Pang!
Thrillist: Xe May puts has an eccentric take on bahn mi... so eccentric that they're mixing grilled beefsteak with pineapple chutney to create the tasty "Sidecar." Read more.

Cesar Razuri: The meatballs. Get the meatballs, and a side of mashed potatoes. Best quick meal you'll ever have in life.
Sabrina: Great easy spot for late night food and a beer. Short rib pirogies pan fried are the way to go. And the boiled spinach and cheese.
nymag: Hard-living Ukranians swear by cabbage soup as a hangover cure, and we think the bowl here packs an extra restorative sauerkraut punch. Get it the morning after to kill the pain. Read more.

RC: Be adventurous and try some meat you haven't tried. They do tacos really well!
Holly Stair: Taqueria is the absolute best. Low key, chill vibes and the absolute sweetest staff. Carnitas anything is out of this world. Go for the lamb taco and tortilla soup while you're at it.
Chez Ong: Very friendly service. Top three are the lamb, cabeza and the pork. Closest thing to LA style tacos I've had so far.
