The ankake udon is really unique and delicious. Tiny little space with a hip & minimalist decor.

Very affordable and delicious. Hostess gives zero fucks, but she means well. Wait to be seated. The simmered beef and tempura shrimp udon is super tasty and goes well with a mug of Sapporo.
go for lunch and get the special bento lunch set which comes with tasty grilled salmon, stewed chicken and vege, lightly battered tempura and noodlicious soba or udon. unagi is reccommended!
Absolutely one of the best udon places I've been to in the city. They make a mean udon tempura! Avoid their tofu block appetizer though- it's a strange toothpastey consistency.

The fish is super fresh. But the real secret is the udon. The broth is too good! I suggest the simple Yasai Udon to compliment you sushi.

Get a bunch of different small plates and an $8 Sapporo pitcher. The fried udon with intestines was smelly but tasty.
I usually get any of the chicken skewers or the rock shrimp. The service is a bit lacking and it's extremely crowded for an already shoe-sized venue. Hit up Udon West for less of a wait!

Get the Afternoon Plate. Amazing food, very reasonably priced. I would say it's the best "teishoku" (定食) I've had outside of Japan.
