Locals love this 34-year-old Portuguese standby, in the arcade of a 17th-century convent in Lapa. The appetizers (try the fluffy scrambled eggs mixed with wild mushrooms) are meals unto themselves.

Everything looks appetising, tried cod pasties, garlic prawns and Lavagante lobster rice shelled and cooked to order superb can recommend.
If you're into seafood and fish ask for the lombos do mar; if you're into meat ask for the steak. try the samosas as appetizers, for dessert the chocolate cake or the creme brule.. Amazing!
