Good food, friendly staff. Dog-friendly (the owners have their own dog). Great to have a local like this where they get to know you as regulars as well as making everyone feel welcome.

It’s cheap.. that’s all that’s good. They don’t care about mobile orders, you will have to wait hours if you don’t go to the bar, food is not cooked as requested, specially steak. Staff is rude.

Don't book until day-of if you can help it, or risk paying double the room rate. Example: "advance" rate was 130, but "last minute" is only 60 for the same room. Unfair.

A hidden gem of a pub with fantastic Sunday roasts, including a great veggie nut roast. Generous portions. Friendly bar staff and sweet dog.
Well kept cask ales, great food, good whiskey list, lovely people. Doesn't get much better than this.

Great Sunday roasts and desserts, but poor service. After ordering deserts, told we had to leave the table in 5 mins - we only had the table for 90 mins!! Not mentioned when we reserved the table
