Amazing place... It is very ancient English pub founded in 1623... You can find a large menu for ales in the pub. There is even a restaurant uptairs. Now Marcus enjoys his Guiness... ;) cheers
Go here if you want an affordable tipple in this part of town. It's a Taylor Walker's pub. They have Guiness, London Pride and Adnams on tap. Upstairs restaurant area. Food is ok.

Interesting eclectic decor. Lots of cosy places to sit with big and small tables, and nooks. Great pub to watch the football or rugby at. Delicious Thai food 👌🏼

Spitfire on tap. Nicely priced Champagne. Great sandwiches at lunch-time on weekdays. Mostly local crowd (despite the location). Vast selection of Irish Whiskey.
The Guinness, atmosphere and live music are all good here. Only thing is it’s cash only under £10
