Finally, a bubble tea place in London that's almost as good as the ones on the West Coast! Tea is freshly brewed and no weird powders. Fresh tapioca and grass jelly are very good.

Great, unassuming local's deli. Looks like a jam & jelly shop from the outside, but has great sandwiches, salads, soups and ice cream for lunch. Egg salad and Italian salami are tops! Very inexpensive

Jelly eel is very interesting. Try the hot eel and chilli beef pie. Friendly staff. Washroom is just upstairs.
Keeping good old London ‘soul food’ alive for tourists and youngsters as well as the die hards like me who’ve always loved pie-and-mash or lovely peppery jellied eels.

Lovely afternoon tea. Their scones are the right combination of crunchy & fluffy, & the clotted cream & jelly are out of this world. The rest was ok.

The bar is a great place to sit and watch the action from a central place in the restaurant.Easy to walk in and perch up with a wonderful drink and meal. Great service, great wine list.
Along with amazing food, the Ivy holds a lovely Bridget Riley painting that I licked when I was 16.

TO: must haves include the zingy hand-cut red prawn tartar, delicatelysweet-salt-smoke eel kabayake or buttery yellowtail nigiri. Also memorable: sake-cured Scottish langoustines with tomato jelly.
Oh my word. Pay the price but so worth it. Perfect Japanese food in this two Michelin started restaurant. Sashimi, sushi, sea urchins all melt in the mouth! Good heaven and I will return!
