A wonderful place for people watching on a sunny day or as a romantic meeting place at dusk, but look out for the pigeons. A visit to the National Gallery is also highly recommended.
Awesome Indian fare! Wait at the bar, have a Bombay Colada, then get some garlic naan and chicken ruby. The chocolate pudding (super rich) and Kashmiri chili ice cream was also delish.

This place is absolutely legendary. Salt Beef Beigal will fill you up, but the rest of the beigals are inexpensive, nice, and delish. Always go hot mustard on the salt beef. 24 hours of beigal.

The Mall Tavern is a truly fabulous pub, and without doubt one of the best in the area. It has more than 20 beer taps, and the beers are constantly changing and always interesting. Great staff also.
The Cow Pie has a massive section of hollow cow femur sticking out the top, acting like a chimney. But don't let that put you off.

proper old London pub, one of the best beer gardens in London and a very eclectically decorated interior make this well worth a visit. Great range of beers too with Krusovice in pump.

The champagne bar is usually much more quiet and relaxing than the other bar, plus it has some very good bar staff. Excellent place to wind down with a glass of bubbly.
The portions are MASSIVE! Good quality food. Lovely sunlit place, (especially benches by the window) during the day but they also have a beer garden/outdoor seating.
Not just the Alma but the new Alma. Nice ambience, food looks great. Shame that the big brewery's supplying the ales. Some quality micro brewery tipples would sit well here.
