Probably my absolute favorite sushi restaurant in L.A. Get these three dishes - Kanpachi sashimi, halibut sashimi with truffle, and seared toro sashimi. Those are always amazing.
The best bet is to go for the full omakase, where you can expect dishes such as uni on corn custard, halibut topped with copious shaved black truffle, and “Japanese birthday cake." Read more.
Halibut carpaccio, sea bass skewer, beef skewer, red snapper, tuna over crispy rice, sea bass croquettes, mochi cake with black sesame. Delicious.

Go for the epic kaiseki meals here, where the appetizer plate alone features uni, snow crab wonton, cucumber with bottarga, and halibut carpaccio. Fresh fish includes kanpachi, spanish mackerel, toro.
Best sushi in the valley. Ignore the shady strip mall it's in and enjoy some delicious albacore, red snapper, and halibut. Say hi to Taku!
This is the place to eat sea food in L.A. The halibut is my wife's favorite. The clam chowder in a cold day hits the spot.
Sorry.... Didn't have time to continue last visit..... For Sushi/Sashimi, order Halibut Carpaccio, Japanese Kanpachi Negiri, Japanese Snapper Negiri/Sashimi..... Uni is freshest and best I've had!
