Weirdly nice seats here, full leather chairs. You'd think they'd recline but they don't. Tends to run advertisements after the showtime though.
Get there early, 4:45 is best. Bring bug spray to combat squitos. It gets chilly and damp so bring a jacket and plenty of blankets for snuggling! Low chairs. Wine & yummy nosh are a must.
Drinking in a cemetery while watching a flick is a must do!

A wonderful little indie theater with one huge screening room. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for free screenings and events. Fairly easy to attend pre-screenings due to size and location.
One of the best theaters in LA! Can always count on the Nuart for the best foreign, indie, and arthouse films that are hard to find anywhere else. And for local cineastes, Cinefile Video is next door!

This place rocks the old school theatre feel. One screen and 600 seats to choose from. I love it!
Just remodeled. Much nicer now, but if you want to go to the bathroom and sit next to the wall, you may have a problem.
Cozy and intimate theatre to see independent and foreign films in West LA. Sit toward the back of the theaters to avoid the blue-hairs talking during the features.

This Egyptian revival theater was developed by Sid Grauman and Charles E. Toberman in 1922 to accommodate the growing population of Los Angeles.
Capitalizing on the Tutankhamen craze, Sid Grauman opened his 1st movie palace in 1922. The 1st modern premier, for Doug Fairbank’s Robin Hood was held here. It is now home to American Cinematheque.

Great historic theatre, friendly staff and management, and the balcony seating is top notch. Dolby atmos equipped now too.
Bruins have been going to the Fox Theater since it was opened in 1931. Try and catch a red carpet premiere.
Concessions are expensive, except for the hot dogs, which makes you kind of wonder what's in them..
