Love the Hermosillo. Highland Park Brewery beers are awesome. Bar food selection is small, but delicious. Prices are reasonable, crowds aren't annoying, and staff is helpful.
My favorite sour--the Duchesse du Bourgogne--is on tap tonight! Great beer and wine selection over all.

This is a hidden gem. One of the best wine bar experiences I have had in the city. Wonderful wine menu and knowledgeable staff. If you happen to be in the area, I highly recommend.
AKA: The Gem of Valley Village. This spot could easily fend for its own in a trendy neighborhood like WeHo.

Go to city sip down the street. El prado's only plus is its proximity to the echo. Wine and beer selection severely lacking, decor cramped and uninspired, staff useless.

Nice bar that only serves beer or wine - it was SO DARK inside that I could barely see my date. That could be a good thing, or a bad thing depending on who you are with.
