Cool spot in hip neighborhood. Patatas bravas, prawns with avocado & mango, and the ceviche were all wonderful. Younger crowd having drinks with a lot of hip hop playing in the background
Holy tasty. The mussels were huge and delicious in their broth, the patatas bravas were smoked and delicious, and the shrimp with mango and avocado was fresh. All in all, a great meal.

Curry souce prawn, truffle rissotto, sirleoin steak, octopus was perfect. One of the best dinners i have in a long time.

This place left such an awful impression on me. The paella I ordered was so-so, I don’t recommend. The shrimp in it overcooked.But the worst was the service felt so uncomfortable and hostile! Awful!

Terrible customer service but good food. We ordered the red prawn paella but they gave us shrimp instead and insisted they were correct without apologizing.

A Madrid institution for decades,Trainera is an excellent restaurant serving strictly seafood dish.They have a great wine selection.Try the carabineros(giant scarlet shrimp) or the rodaballo(turbot).
Everything was so good - clams, carabineros, big king crab...splurge and get it all!
Very good meal - broad wine selection with moderately priced bottles plus a mean negroni. Artichoke dishes and the shrimp with tomato both very good. Standout: flan that is equal part cheesecake.

Second time in Madrid and second time at this restaurant. Had a lovely lunch here after walking around in the Cortes district. Amazing octopus and shrimp appetizer followed by yummy seafood paella.
