Good for groups, best beer in town
I prefer this place over Hofbrauhaus. Come early to secure a seat and order the best beer in Munich! Sausage plate w/ sauerkraut is traditional and excellent.

It's the best place I found in Munich. Amazing and traditional sausages, great beer and good prices. Be careful with the pretzels, they leave it on the table but they are not free

Huge biergarten with plenty of tables. There's a band on the Chinese tower playing traditional music, nice atmosphere. There's a restaurant and a self-service with typical German food (and beer ofc!)
For all foreigners: In all munichs Biergarten it's allowed to bring your own food with you. Only drinks you have to buy on site :-)
Great own beer selection and a nice view on the brewery right from your table. The regular "helles" is the everyday winner, try the "Jubiläumsbock" for something special.

Open air biergarten / beer garden in the heart of downtown in the market. Perfect place to take a break from site seeing, rest your feet and enjoy a cold litre of beer, and a pretzel too.
Dude you buy beer from is a jerk, but the beer is good.

On the edge of the English Gardens, this place is delightful - but it gets packed! In May, get a Maibock. Always good seasonal beer offerings. 🇩🇪🍺

Loved this place. Service is impeccable and nice, portions are on the big side, tasty food and nice wine too. The place looks well furnished and clean. We will definitely come back!

One of the best Greek restaurants in Munich! And one of the 2 best in Haidhausen! After 10pm there is a greek party, which is very fun! But watch out for the Uzos, they are really strong! ;)

You can also find something to eat, if you are a vegetarian. Fried eggplants are always tasty. Try Chinkali with cheese and ask for sourcream as sause:)

Great food with lovely flavours. Well abundant servings that can in some cases reach for two. I have gone twice and was twice delighted. Absolutely necessary to give it a try... or two :)
