Last time I walked down W 8th Street, this place was full of sneaker stores. Lobby bar has a lot of potential -- fireplace, cozy chairs. It's kind of a disaster if it's Saturday night and packed.

This theater is AMAZING!! Large screen, comfy seats, and surprisingly few people on the Saturday afternoon of an opening weekend.
The most trendy coffee shop in midtown? La Colombe cappuccinos with fast free wifi, comfy couches, and oversized lamps.
There's a nice, cozy, living room like room in the back with comfortable sofa and armchairs and books. Interesting selection of teas. The coffee is fresh and testy, but somewhat pricey.
