Trust the omakasa menu if you are not sure. But definitely get Uni, Freshwater Eel, Toro, Tamago and Salmon! We for okamasa with several pieces extra, 120 per person. No tipping here
Food is worth every penny. Sushi matsu gives good variety for reasonable price. Uni is creamy. Sea scallop is shiny and fresh. Eel is plump and tender. The shrimp is sweet and firm.
Black cod, if you can get it. Yellowtail is high quality, as is their eel.
The eel don is a great, hearty lunch choice if you're looking for something that's not sushi.

Delicious eel rolls. First time here and pleasantly surprised. Red miso was good, but even I who loves salt, found it a little too salty. Would get it again though.

Hand rolls were good , but actually liked the sushi pieces, shrimp peach/Apple salad and chawanmusi the best . Specially the albacore with goat cheese reduction. Get the handroll course with the eel
The hand roll sampler is a great value for getting a taste of lots of tasty sushi, and the truffle laced chawanmushi. Get a daily special roll or two, too, especially the eel if they have it.
Top picks (in order of 😛👍👏): Eel Taco, Kimchi Paella, Gnocchi, Pork Belly, and Avocado. The Capri-Thursday 💥cocktail is on the sweeter side but surprisingly refreshing.
The eel tacos were the favorite! Kimchi paella also delicious. Don't get the mapo tofu was awful. Super kind and attentive service.
As a party of four, we ordered half the menu. My favorites of the night were the truffle mac & cheese, eel tacos, popcorn chicken, and kimchi paella.

We got a lunch combo with a bland soba noodle soup (3/10) spicy salmon maki (6/10), california maki (7/10) & eel avocado maki (8/10) for $26. We went again but it wasn't as good the second time. 6/10

I always love the crispy eel. Caramelized sweet, salty, crispy...delicious. Jelly fish salad is refreshing, tangy--flavorful crunchy rubberbands.
Get the sautéed eel, dumplings, soup dumplings, five spices beef, but skip all the casseroles.

Chef nakazawa was not here(sunday). Rice was sour which overpowered sea food's freshness. Eel and shrimp were a little overcooked. Order separately for urchin from Hokkaido which is more flavourful.
The Sea Eel, the Toro, the Bonito, and the Ivory King Salmon were the best bites!
British seafood perfection. Loved the squid skewer, clams and cider, grilled oysters, smoked eel, and of course the fish and chips.

One of my favorite, if not my favorite, wine bars in the city. They'll open any bottle of wine as long as you get at least two glasses. The cheese selection is never disappointing!
