Best latte in the city - even better than stumptown. I think it has a lot to do with the milk they use. I always find out about cool theater productions while there and the staff is very friendly.

The cortados at Birch are the best in the city, never bitter or sour. If you've never had a cortado, this is a great place to try one!
A chill and quiet spot, perfect for studying and reading. Although the décor and menu are minimalistic, their coffee is brewed to absolute perfection. The baked goods went perfectly with our espresso.
