Steve Hovington: Did you know? The fountain in Point State Park, which sprays water up to 150 feet (46 m) in the air at the head of the Ohio River, draws upon water from an aquifer that passes beneath the park.
Bikabout: The amazing fountain serves as a scenic escape from the city and the trailhead for the Great Allegheny Passage, a 340 mile trail to DC!

Painting with a Twist: We love Market Square so much we made a painting of it. Fountain in the summer, skating in the winter, + great food = fun place to hang out any time of the year.
Marjorie Wertz: The reconstructed Market Square in downtown Pittsburgh. Beautiful in its simplicity.
Amanda Gribble Wilson: You can find Primati Brothers, among other things, at Market Square. It's awesome. And there's nothing that says Pittsburgh more than a Primanti Bros. sandwich. Enjoy!

Amanda Gribble Wilson: Learn the story of how the place where the three rivers meet played a pivotal role in the French & Indian war.
kazahel: Unless you're also going to the Heinz center, skip this museum--the Fort Pitt building itself is open to the public for free.
