Favorite place in town. Chicken curry rice, with chicken katsu is great. It's a lot of chicken with the katsu, just enough without. Big enough portions for two small meals. Served up in a few minutes.

The curry served here takes a whole day to make, and the care he puts into it really comes through. Try it doria style, you won’t be disappointed.
While it is enticing to see all the wonderful signature rolls, don’t be afraid to try the specials. The Japanese Uni and Toro were amongst the best I have had 😋

Best and must eat sushi in Portland, OR. The line is super long, so make sure you get there early (like before they open at 5pm), or you might have to wait up to 2 hours.

Sushi and sashimi is 2-3 times larger than your average sushi restaurant. Come hungry.

The lunch bento box is a steal. Well prepared cuts of sushi make for a wonderful experience. It's not sushi but the canyon roll is a guilty pleasure.
The venerable Hashimoto is one of Portland's best, albeit unsung, sushi chefs.

Very good sushi selection, teas always hot and not burnt. Modern and comfortable interior with friendly staff. Thursdays are 1.85 for all plates so it's cheap too!

The pupu platter is amazing--very nice selection of menu appetizers. And the portion is huge, even as an entrée. The brussel sprouts are really good, too.
