Food is amazing, kebabs are perfectly spiced and soups like lagman Shurpa very tasty and the Samsa and mantu.
The shawafel with chicken and falafel was pretty delicious. And they give you a free falafel while you wait!

We saw this spot on Mike Colameco's food show. The chicken shuwarma is amazing. Not the frozen loaf most places have. They make their own, from real chickens they marinate and spice, in house.
The food is absolutely excellent! The best Israeli food. But on a bad note the service is terrible... My father "the dinner natzi" would have my server fired!!
Food is very affordable & portions are huge! Get sandwiches on their homemade bread. Get their platters with yellow rice / Spanish saffron rice & get a side of crispy fries! Get their house specials!
Food is amazing, service not so much. They took 25 minutes to give us our orders, and gave it faster to people who spoke Arabic. Would go again for food, not for their service

As good as Taverna Kyklades but without all the distractions. A hidden gem in Astoria where it’s all about the fresh fish and delicious cooking. Order the shrimp, branzini (baked) & eggplant.
The tagine is AMAZING here and among my favorite things ever to eat in NYC. The seafood here is fresh and amazingly seasoned. 10/10 recommend going.
The bronzini and grilled shrimp were amazing. Eggplant side was also excellent. Wish I had tried more.
