The new space is great. Tons of room for board and tabletop games along with comics and memorabilia.
I didn't expect this place to have so much stuff. Seemed small from the outside. The front is a comic book store, the back is a board gamers paradise! Any indy board game, they have it here. :D

This is a really small comic book store, but I love the art on the wall. I have bought a few prints from this store. Venom, Wolverine, Batman to name a few.
The zoo is an easy day trip while waiting for comic con. Take the 7 bus and it's a ten minute straight shot.
Perfect downtown location for Comic Con. Attached to shopping mall that has a movie theater, Starbucks, Macy's and CVS.
Be careful, they overbook during San Diego Comic Con and they’ll ship you off to another hotel further from the convention hall than this one already is!
The whiskey selection here is top notch. Even the beer selection is impressive. Great place to unwind at the end of Comic Con.
One of the most extensive whiskey lists I’ve seen - bar none. The bartenders could have been more helpful/friendlier, but if you’re a whiskey drinker it’s well worth a stop.

What a great spot. Has big doors that open so you can feel the breeze. Their Bloody Mary is very good. My wife had the El Caliente mule and it was amazing.
Server didn't know if they served hot tea.... Hmmmmm

Lestats is one of my favorite places in town to meet up and hangout with friends over a latte and cheesecake. The sandwiches are super fresh and delicious and they never ever close.
