Beautiful winery with live music and plenty of food for purchase to have your own picnic! They even had a taco food truck which was delicious. Loved their whites more than their reds.

nice, bright, open space in la Jolla! very picnic friendly! a lot of families hangout and play ball on the park grounds. Be prepared to fight for parking though.

There is plenty of parking on Harbor Drive. Bring some quarters. The lawn area is great for a picnic or lounging out and playing football with friends. Restrooms and grounds are clean.

Take the 'secret stairs' just north of the La Valencia Hotel from Prospect straight down to the park. Not a park to rush through. Enjoy the salty sea breezes and the epic views. Excellent for picnics.
