One of the best sushi restaurants downtown. Kinda pricey but worth it if you like good quality. Try the spicy tuna tartar. They even sprinkle a bit gold on top. It's quite beautiful.

A must visit. Spicy tuna was 5-star, not made with mayo. Also try the unique Battera "box" sushi, which is not rolled but layered, and the scrumptious black sesame creme brulee.

Probably one of the best all around sushi spots in SD. Top notch sushi and great ambiance. Try Old Town Roll, The Flaming Lip Roll & the Rastatori Roll. Good miso too.

Right off the main drag, vegan/vegetarian rolls at more than an affordable price, my favorite being the greenscape ;) avocado rolls for $2.95 (with more than just a sliver of avocado).
Try their mochi ice cream. It looks weird, but it is surprising good.
This place is awful! Took over an hour to get a spicy tuna roll and a rainbow roll! Over priced slow customer service! Waste of time!
