Elon Lenka: Try the baked goat cheese and the clam chowder. Sourdough gnocchi good too, unless you're hungry (small portion).
Wim Godden: Their clam chowder in sourdough bowl is excellent (best I've eaten so far - and I've eaten quite a few !), salmon was great. Too bad they don't have the 'select 3' desert special anymore.

Rebecca Goberstein: Best clam chowder in the city. Amazing seafood. Started by 2 Croatian brothers during the Gold Rush, making it the oldest restaurant in the state. This place rocks. No reservations, so get here early.
Travel + Leisure: Get the signature seafood cioppino, with clams, prawns, scallops, bay shrimp, crabmeat, mussels and white fish.
