Everyone's favorite breakfast place! The waits are always long here on the weekends, but it's worth it. Call ahead and dress for the weather so you can sit outside if necessary.
The hash browns look like mush.

Ask who made the Hollandaise. If it was Cesar, it's going to be the best restaurant Hollandaise you've ever had. Citrusy and amazing.
They have nacho fries here you just have to ask. Also you could request fries in your burrito! (California Burrito)

We visit for Mexican desayuno (breakfast). My go to dish is their machaca or chorizo & eggs. Mexican food in Japantown, what’s not to like?
Order the two eggs and bacon with the fruit and toast. Order the eggs softly poached. The chef at John's makes the best soft poached eggs anywhere.

I've been going here for breakfast for over 5 years now and have yet to get something I don't like. Best items are the Swedish pancakes, scrambles with pepper plant, pumpkin pancakes, and OJ & Coffee!

One of the BEST Taqueria's in Downtown San Jose! Open late on weekends and their Nacho Fries are bomb! The meat is good quality also.

The veggie skillet is delicious AND loaded with nutrients so you'll feel better about pairing it with a mimosa. Which, by the way, is a great source of vitamin C :)
Parking sucks. There's a residential street (McDandiel) around the corner with lots 'O parking though.
