Huge and pricey cheese selection. They do beer and cheese pairings every now and then, but the spots fill up quickly.

Study the menu carefully; there is a huuuuuge difference in what your bill will be if u order combo dishes vs a la carte. Old, classic diner. Stay away on weekend brunch = lines of hungover yuppies.

UNparalleled service and 'family' feel, which was is a surprise for a modern hotel in Santa Monica. Smaller rooms, but well worth the price.
Ask for floors 14 and above for the best view. Yogurt with granola and berries is fantastic for breakfast.
