Salmon chowder : too much pepper and capers, new England chowder : good and bacon-y, scallop chowder : AMAZING!!
The New England clam chowder is by far the best chowder I've ever had, try the smoked salmon and seafood bisque if you are a seafood lover. Southwestern chicken corn chowder is also a favorite.
The clam chowder (white) is arguably the best in the UNIVERSE.
Seems touristy but worth it for the delicious seafood. Awesome beet salad, fantastic smoked scallop appetizer, and delicious salmon chowder.
Try the chowder trio sampler, the seafood chowder was our fave. The fried prawns were tremendous. The dungeoness crab & goat cheese dip is out of this world.

Great clam chowder, probably one of the best in Seattle. A Seattle Icon in it's own right. If you visit Seattle, you should visit one of the many Ivar's around the area.
You must, I mean MUST have the Clam Chowder. I am not exaggerating when I say it is the best clam chowder I have ever had. And I have been to San Fran.

I tried 4 clam chowders this week and this one is the best so far. The crab cake is filled with crab meat so the taste is just amazing. I highly recommend that you let the bloody rest 5m b4 drinking.
