There is a Family Mart, small GS25, and Lotteria inside Olympic Park. Grab some beer, some burgers, and have a picnic by the lake.
Really beautiful park with leafy trees and large well kept lawns 4 a family picnic. Hire bikes n ride around the lake or stop in at 1 of the many cafes or browse around the interesting sculptures.

Hangang park is huge! Great nature scenes with wide bicycle path, perfect spot for biking. Go around the park and you'll notice great architectures too, like this spiral bridge.

Not really a typical park, you can really picnic or do outdoorsy type stuff, but it's nice for a stroll. It's closest real park to Hongdae.

Great park. I decided to rent a bicycle right outside Seoul Forest Station exit 3. For an hour and 20 minutes it was 3,000￦. It was a great way to see the park.

Out of all the places around the Han river, this is probably the best place to enjoy the breeze from the river with minimum numbe of people around.

Archeological museum of Korea. Free admission for the ordinary entrance. It is huge so leave home early if you want to master the museum. They have a nice park for family picnic outside the building.
Must visit museum in Seoul. Very big. Allocate few hours if you want to explore every corner of this museum.
Picnic area is very good for barbecue, you can rent a grill and grill mesh, there is a store at the gates where you can buy charcoal and whatever you need to start grilling. Bus 9707 from Dangsan stn.

This is one of my favorite places to see the cherry blossoms in bloom. Go early in the morning for plenty of parking.
This is not a tourist spot but it also as the same beautiful view as in Yeouido and Jamsil during the spring season!
