Cone soft snow is quite small; soft serve is creamier than hand scoop ice cream; ice cream is available as dairy or non dairy. They taste similar but dairy is creamier
the spread of fresh fruits & yogurts is amazing - v possible to eat healthy. new hotel so work processes need to be smoothen out e.g. staff not attentive/fast enough to clean tables, top up coffee/tea
Awesome breakfast place if you're staying at south beach. Incredible selection of local and European breakfast options, all delicious!

What an amazing resort to stay in ... It offers fabulous rooms ... Outstanding pool ... Unfortunately, it doesn't have a private beach, although there is a public beach nearby.

Love their seasonal japanese fairs. You can get full from munching on their samples. Look out for their fresh fruits and japanese snacks.

I gather this had been refurbished since, but go here for good miso, produce & good otc -hot&cold- comfort food. (Weekends good for non-panicked-hapless-housewife-with-trolley shopping). Around 5-ish.
Even better after renovation... Much more spacious but still cosy and welcoming. Great coffee as always and some delicious food too... Loved the organic granola with fresh fruits and low fat yoghurt!

Place is ok clean n the service uncle always speaks Cantonese n abit of mandarin. Looks crowded for noon tea time. Tryin the Fresh mango & ice cream & Black Glutinous Rice & Ice cream.

Dim sum here is on par with any of top dim sums you can think of. Ambiance here is excellent to give you a comfy feel. Do try out their crispy wasabi-aioli prawns with fresh mango and roe.

The perfect place for Hong Kong style dim sum, a good ambience and apparently decent Chinese opera music (as pointed out by my dining guest).
Fresh coconuts, great view, lively music, lots of beautiful people... It is busy, but then what did you expect? Still worth it...

Love this place, had truffle fries, calamari, fresh coconut juice some chilled beer and wine. Lazing here on a Sunday afternoon/evening is amazing. It's a dog friendly place too!
Relaxing weekend afternoons had here, who needs Bali! And they make great coffee.
It has a lot of things to offer. I enjoyed the photography exhibition in March 2012, for instance! Great regular events with nice DJs too! A place to have fun no matter what time of the day it is. ;-)

Katong laksa: Singaporean take on curry laksa w/ a base of fresh coconut milk & spices ground into a paste, laksa features rice noodles & shrimp, served w/ a scoop of sambal & slivers of laksa leaves.
I like the laksa because it's not spicy unless you add the chili. Very smooth and savory soup
