My favourite music venue in Sydney. Seen so many awesome bands here: Vampire Weekend, Art Vs Science, PNAU, Birds Of Tokyo, Eskimo Joe, Jimmy Eat World & City and Colour to name a few.
Fantastic intimate concert venue, sitting or standing. One of the best in Australia!
If you're in the Concert Hall, choose a spot in the stalls a few rows back (E or above) and in the centre.
Great venue for concerts.
They stop serving drinks at the concert hall shortly after the main act gets on. Have a cocktail or two on the terrace closest to the water on the north side, amazing view of bridge.

One of the best bars in Sydney. It has the most epic view of the Harbour bridge and Opera House. Great place to watch the sun setting. There is also live music at the weekend.

Great live band but don't get tables near the stage. They get removed after a certain time. Service can be a bit of a hit and miss.
Friday nights are great fun. Live music & great drinks. Comfortably busy till round 9pm then packed. After that the lines is so long you will sober up
Hipster. Extremely loud, busy, only serves bottles and has a live band. It's worth checking out but go early before the rush comes.
Cool alternative crowd on the weekend & sometimes live music. Open until 4am plus they serve (cracking) pizza (whole & by the slice) until 3:45am! What's not to like?

To book show up at 6 pm same evening and try your luck. Otherwise far in advance. Great experience, old-school French style decore and atmosphere, nice food, live music on Thursday!
Really nice old school, vintage vibes. Food is great and they have live jazz bands playing further adding to the ambience
