Excellent pizza baked in a brick oven makes a nice and crispy crust. It's as close to authentic Italian pizza as you can get in Taipei. Trust me, I know Italian pizza.

Best authentic Taiwanese Gua Bao (aka Boa Burger in France) in the world. Get the half & half. Delicious porc intestine/tripe soup 四神湯. For dessert, get “boba (tapioca) & milk”across the street

Xiao long bao had no soup in it. This place is overrated and not worth it. Definitely stick to Shanghai and authentic shanghainese restaurant for xiao long bao.

If you have a high standard for beef noodles, this won’t make your list of great places.
Get the half tendon half beef noodles (半筋半肉), and chuck in some of their homemade chili paste to add spice and umami flavors to an already delicious herbal broth. Deeeelish!
