Giovanni Laniado: I had lobster miso soup and the torch sushi sampler...simply the best sushi experience I've ever had
Tiffany: Try any of the blow torch sushis and they're bound to be good. Also gave the miso soup with lobster a try and it's actually pretty good!
Falcon Darkstar: This is an aburi place mostly. They do an amazing job of it. The lobster miso soup, however, is pretty mediocre... Crab would do just as well.

Kapil Bhutada: The quickest dinner ever.. Japanese efficiency at its best.. Had three-course in 15 mins.. Liked the miso soup.. California roll and cucumber maki
Martial Bénard: Very small place serving fresh and delicate sushi. I had the deluxe sushi combo, that includes miso soup, salad and a tasty shrimp tempura maki. All delicious and served with a smile.
Art Bleukx: Probably my favourite restaurant in Toronto. Amazing sushi in the cutest setting with fantastic service. A total gem.

Jonny Blaze: We recommend the Dinner for 2/Dinner for 4. Fantastic amount of sushi/sashimi, miso soup, etc...for a very reasonable price. Plus warm, friendly, and efficient service! 1 of our favourite venues!
Dean Szoradi: Great sushi in the village!! Best we have found since moving from Vancouver!!! Reminds me of some of the better places we ate there! Sashimi was perfect thin slices, rolls awesome, seafood tempura wow
Shyndyg: PRIDE 2012 TIP: Seating here is very limited, but their takeout is fast. Carefully made sushi at a reasonable price is what Kawa is known for. Try the salad rolls if you're going rice-free. Read more.

Sandy Hum: My comfort food: Beef Bulgogi, w/ miso soup & kimchi (affordable, fresh, & tasty)
A. Simon Mielniczuk: This is a Neighbourhood gem. Walk by here everyday always see Bob cleaning chopping and cooking. Stopped in for a take home supper and have been back every week . Everything is great. Free cup of soup
Matt Campagna: The Bulgogi is excellent, and “spicy” isn’t a dangerous level of hot, but adds a lovely flavour; I highly recommend!
