Good collection of spy gear. Probably need about 2 hours. At $27 per person it's a bit steep.
Nice size and not crowded. Building really nicely designed to show off the paintings and especially the sculptures outdoors.
Designed by Philip Johnson in 1963, this petite gallery is as captivating as the Impressionist and Modernist works it contains (paintings by Cézann, and Braque, plus sculptures by Calder and Rodin).

Huge, with 6 floors to see. There is something for everyone, religious or not. Plan to spend 2-6 hours depending on your interest level.

Staff are very helpful and courteous. The guided tours are well done and well organized. They provide headphones so you can hear the guide speak.
Ask your Congressman or woman for a tour & don't try to bring in any food or beverages (not even empty bottles are allowed)!

Very informative day learning about the history of the White House! Fun and interesting!
They have a piece of the White House that you can touch. It's a chunk of sandstone that fell off while Reagan was in office.
It wasn't worth the time.
The gift shop in the museum is incredible. Great books!
Nice place to hang out while you're waiting to meet someone.
Stay away from the bat cave. It smells and there's no light to be found. Ignore the 'free' pizza.
The tour is interesting and doesn't take long. There's some pretty cool things in the gift shop.

Built in 1787 for Benjamin Stoddert, Revolutionary War hero and first Secretary of the Navy. It was later enlarged and much altered in 1900-38.

Absolutely stunning and tranquil place to visit! Getting there by public transportation is doable but once inside it would best to have a vehicle as the place is 446 acres.
The whole place is impressive. Worth taking your time in.

Make sure to bring passport or suitable ID as you need to fill in big form for background check at the visitor desk.
