The garden is a living plant museum & was established by Congress in 1820. The Conservatory reopened in Dec 2001 after a four-year renovation,with approx 4,000 seasonal, tropical & subtropical plants.
Really like the Thai Chicken Curry, I want to try the Shrimp curry too. The Japanese sweet tea & bento boxes are good. Loved the chai shake. Love the koi pond downstairs.

Such a beautiful dedication. the plaques of all the states surrounding the pond which was so serene and then waterfall with the stars that represent our fallen Heros so picturesque and also humbling
This memorial, dedicated in 2004, honors the 16 million Americans who served in the armed forces during World War II (1939-45).
This is my great-grandfather, who is a WWII vet, standing in front of the memorial. He is 98 1/2. He thought the memorial was great.

Surprisingly delicious! Sat brunch. Best for me was the pot pie, the fried chicken and salads. The doughnuts are to die for!
Brunch here is crazy! So much good stuff! Brunch is definitely brunch food but regular lunch food too. A big fan of the devil's food cake doughnuts...wow.
