Pies, and Calzones, wine and Beer, thats it, Pies come out fast, and are one of the best in the NY area, they're also pricey, $26 for the base, $3-4 per topping. Cash Only, Open kitchen style. Old NY

Really great pizza, top 3 I've had in the city. And you can go on Saturday night at 7 with two people and not have to wait.

This is the one of that kind of places which make ppls say: “bklyn pizza is the best!”. Vibe inside, taste, staff… Everything! Don’t skip the dessert with riccota and nutella!

Everyone has their fave Brooklyn pizza spot. Giuseppina's is my gold standard. Simple but perfect menu. Opt for the cheese pie, bottle of Barbera and the sausage calzone for a change of pace. Bliss!

The sister restaurant of Lucali in Carrol Gardens, the pizza here is identical and costs the same, though without the charm and atmosphere of its predecessor. Still nice, but lacking that extra oomph.

Pro tip: They only do two things but my oh my do they do them well. Really, don't overlook the calzone! They also offer cheap wine by the glass, but note, it's cash only.

Shallots and spicy sausage + garlic and basil. Or a calzone + truffle oil (it needs nothing more!). Love love this place

By far the best calzone I have ever had, I did a small artichoke with garlic and was amazing. The pizza was good as well, cannot wait to return.

Pie guru Mark Lacono's younger brother Chris is opening Giuseppina with the same brick oven thin crusters, a tight menu of salads and desserts and a beer/wine list soon as the license floats.

The owner is brothers with owner of Lucali. Pizza is basically the same. Not BYOB but cheap drinks. No wait on a Saturday night with is unheard of at Lucali. Definitely a hidden gem.
