- Pastis is one of a dwindling number of Manhatttan eateries offering a bread basket. The bread is from Keith McNally cousin Balthazar. Ask for it if it isn't brought to the table, another recent trend.
- Take it from someone who eats here 3-4 nights a week...everything is good. Just ignore the pretention wafting off most of the customers and enjoy the amazing and friendly staff.
