LOctober 31, 2016Lovely, airy and clean airport. It's also pretty small, so it's easy to get to your gate from the check-in area. Security control is fast and efficient, even on a busy day (e.g. Sunday afternoon).

Superb airport - metro to city, lot of space and benches, free unlimited internet, fast security and gate access, overnight stay friendly. Cons: no smoking area, overpriced food, no supermarket.

- Bettina KAugust 13, 2023Public transport is very easy to navigate. Take the metro to get to Porto or Gaia. Which is in walking distance from Porto city center and a much more budget friendly area to stay when visiting Porto
Modern and Small Airport with excellent facilities. Duty fee shops could be extended. Good shop of Portuguese specialities with average Pasteis da bats.

The metro that takes you to the heart of Oporto is directly connected to the airport. Take it and safe around €20 euros in cab fare.

Mikhail LSeptember 29, 2014Clean and modern surroundings, guys at the ticket machines are multilingual, to get a ticket for a newbie to Porto is a matter of one question and 2 minutes #lushapproved- ... doesnt take u to the airport neither pick u up. I´ve been to few low cost parking in Europe and believe me the one in Porto(private owned) its the best in every aspect.

Jacqueline L.November 27, 2021If you're flying Iberia since the pandemic, be ready to spend a full hour waiting for check-in; staff seem confused about documentation. Long waits for the post-security toilets, too.
Security is rapid even when chocka. In fact you can get from Campanhã station to your gate in 1h, but wise to also allow 15mins before gate closure… Free water dispenser at the ground-level gates.
